| The Kingstone Press Championship Round six was spread over two days and four kick-off times as Hull KR continued their quest for a quick return to Super League as they travelled to Dewsbury and Bradford Bulls continued their search for positive points with a tough looking home game against the Batley Bulldogs.

Swinton took a third minute lead in the south of France through Lever but before Hankinson grabbed them a twenty-fifth minute try Robin, Ader and Minga had scored for Toulouse. Kriouache added the fourth home try before the break for a 20-14 lead. Second half tries from Maurel, Robin and Planas sealed a 36-28 win for Toulouse, their fourth in the opening six games.
Hull KR maintained their 100% record with a big 38-6 win over Dewsbury Rams. It was a procession from the Robins with first half tries from Lunt, Greenwood, Hefernan, and Blair opening a 24-0 lead at the interval. Mulhern, Hefernan and Donaldson all scored in the second half for 42-0 before a late consolation try from Hirst. Horne put the icing on the KR cake with a try three minutes from time.
Bradford Bulls are now back to minus six after they registered their third win of the season as they try to overcome their twelve points deduction. Despite going ahead through an Oakes try the Bulls were behind after seventeen when Leak and Farrell scored for Batley for 12-6. Larroyer and Bentley put the Bulls ahead before Smeaton levelled the scores at 18-18 at half time. Holmes edged Batley into the lead straight after the restart but then the Bulls found an extra gear and cruised home thanks to tries from Ryan, Oakes, Campbell (2) and Thomas without response. In the end it was a comprehensive 44-22 win.
Halifax and London Broncos had a humdinger of a match at the New Shay with the home side eventual winners by 19-6. Tyrer gave Halifax an early lead but on nineteen a Halliwell converted try edged the Broncos 6-4 ahead. Grix scored just before the break for 8-6 and following a Tyrer penalty on fifty-seven Moore scored a try which Tyrer also converted for 16-6. Tyrer kicked another penalty on sixty-three and a seventieth minute Moore drop goal clinched the 19-6 win.
Rochdale Hornets and Oldham shared the points after a thriller at Spotland. Moores scored the first for Rochdale before Walker equalised for the visitors. A try from Crowley on thirty-five, and a third from Holmes on the stroke of half-time gave Rochdale a 14-6 lead at the interval but it was the second half which served up the entertainment. Tries from Tyson, Egodo and Ward and a Leatherbarrow penalty put the visitors into a 26-14 lead with just ten minutes left on the clock. Bennion scored on seventy-six for Rochdale and when Maneely scored in the dying seconds the Palfrey conversion tied the scores at 26-26.
Featherstone Rovers maintained the pressure on Hull KR with a 47-22 away win at Sheffield Eagles in the late kick off. The Eagles had taken a second minute lead through Dean but Walton and Bostock put Rovers 12-6 ahead before Straughier equalised for the home side. Walton added his second and Handley and Ulugia both scored before half time for the visitors for a 26-12 interval lead. Minchella got one back for the Eagles early in the second half but a quick brace from Thackeray put the game beyond Sheffield. Lo did pick up another home score but after a Thackeray drop goal it was a Briscoe try which finished the points avalanche and sealed the win.
