| With something like nine games to go, it seems unlikely that we will make up the six points on Widnes, to take us clear of getting involved in the "SUPER 8'S"
Looking at the top of League one where the top four of. North Wales, Swinton, Workington and Midland Hurricanes are the likely participants. Ourselves with Sheffield, Batley and Hunslet seemed destined for involvement from the Championship. Do we have anything to fear from our likely involvement?
I am confident that we are good enough to get a good outcome, if all stay fit. In truth I did think that we should have been well clear of the bottom four, but we are where we are.

| We should be able to finish at least 4th in that league?
Is it home and away? Where the hell is all this info? I still want to know what the middle of the league are doing for this period too.

It's the top three that stay in the Championship. The bottom five go to League One. This is to reduce the Championship to 12. Each of the eight teams involved will play the four teams from the other competition – two at home, two away – over four weekends from September 21 to October 12, with the top two in the final table securing places in the 2026 Betfred Championship, and the bottom four confirmed to play in Betfred League One. The teams finishing third and fourth in the Super Eight table will play off for the 12th and last place in the 2026 Betfred Championship at the home ground of the third placed team on the weekend of October 19.

| The team is propped up by loanees. The Broncos results will largely dependent on the benevolence of other clubs.

Is that not true of a large number of Championship teams. Oldham in particular.

| Basically London will play all the four League One clubs. It'll be four victories and Championship Rugby League at least next season.

I'm inclined to agree. The team has improved considerably since we played Goole. Might be more of a struggle if we don't have access to our loanees & DRs though. We need to score heavily, something we haven't been great at other than against Hunslet, as you might expect Sheffield to maybe win 4 & who knows what Bately might do. I would still put money on us beating 4th if we finish 3rd unless we produce another Doncaster performance.

| Oh well, another fine plan bites the dust. Gonna be a big old division next season with i suspect some very one-sided games between top Championship teams & bottom L1 sides. Will be a long old season & on that basis hope we fiddle our way into SL for 2026.

I’d assume if some finances were in place we’d be a strong candidate for SL. Without it it feels like a risk that if not all done and dusted right about now that we would be uncompetitive or at risk of folding. So most likely championship next year. I suspect they have to split the massive league up somehow. With a bit of luck we could be in a strong place to have a good season. What the outcome of that is, eg promotion, I’m not clear.

| I was told that the new investment is dependent on our admission to Super League. Aussie money and players too.
